What is VendOnBoard (VOB)?

VendOnBoard is a secure, easy-to-use web platform to help companies onboard vendors and subcontractors and maintain compliance. The system provides a data portal for vendors to deliver all the necessary information to stay in good standing with the company to be ready to receive purchase orders and new work without re-inventing the wheel every time. VendOnBoard saves everyone time.

How do I upload forms?

Once you are approved as a vendor, you can upload forms within your vendor profile. Scroll to the bottom of your Vendor Profile to the Data Compliance section. You will see six separate tabs: Contacts, Certificate of Liability Insurance (COLI), DCAA/DCMA, Annual Supplier Representations and Certifications, W-9, and Other. The only tabs that will need forms updated are COLI, DCAA/DCMA, W-9, and other. To add, simply select the tab you would like to upload a document. Click the +ADD button on the right-hand side. This will pull up the “Upload Document” section where you can upload the appropriate form.

Can I add more contacts to my account?

Yes! When you are creating your vendor profile, at the bottom of that page there is an “Add Company Contacts” section field. Click the +ADD button on the right side. You will be brought to the Add Contact page. Here you will fill in all required fields and click SAVE at the bottom of the page.

Is my data secure?

Security is our top priority which is why we use the US government HTTPS standard, which verifies identity, encrypts information sent between our website and users, protects information and prevents information from being read or changed while in transit. Our databases are highly secure and redundant leveraging Amazon Web Services network.

What should I do if any information is incorrect in my account?

If possible, try to correct it via the available web tools in the VendOnBoard tool. If you need help, please email support@vendonboard.com and we’ll give happy to give you a hand.

I am no longer a vendor for this company and no longer want to receive reminders. How do I delete my company from the vendor list? 

To delete your account, simply login to VOB using your username and password. Once you are logged in, you will find on your homepage your vendor snapshot. If you scroll all the way to the right you will find the X. By clicking the X you will be asked if you are sure you want to delete this record. Select the red YES and you will be deleted from the system.

What’s so important about compliance for vendors?

There’s a host of reasons why ensuring vendors are in compliance ranging from having proper insurance in place at all times to meeting client contractual obligations. It’s really about risk reduction and through VendOnBoard companies can mitigate significant amounts of risk just by using the tool to collect and maintain this documentation.
